Neurofeedback is a form of therapy which utilizes biofeedback to adjust your brain waves to their optimal level. Neurofeedback is a very personalized form of therapy where a specific protocol will be applied as recommended by a doctor to either help with focus, memory, ADHD and more. Once a protocol for the patient is set, the patient will be able to watch TV for a set duration while wearing a wet cap. A wet cap is a cap that is filled with gel on certain locations based on the type of protocol in order to regulate brain waves in specific localized areas. Once the individual is watching the TV, they will receive visual and auditory feedback to adjust their brain waves. When our brain waves falls out of the undesirable region, we won’t hear the sound in the background and our screen will be dimmed. Overtime out brain begins to be able to register the difference from where it is to where it should be in order to be rewarded.
