I am impressed of the a simple and mindfully “staying still” does wonders for you body and mind. I felt safe inside the HBOT knowing that I was being healed inside and out. I can tell now improvement on my skin looking and feeling healthier and my chest congestion and dry cough that I had for many years has improved dramatically after the second session. After a $700 assessment, the evaluating doctor suggested my daughter had a neurological condition and recommended a $5,000+ treatment plan, none of which was covered by insurance. However, when we sought a second opinion from a psychiatrist, they determined it was not neurological. With simple medication, her symptoms improved significantly within two weeks. Additionally, the super bill we received contained unrelated diagnoses, including a concussion—which my daughter has never had. While the staff is friendly and professional, I now question whether their assessments are accurate or if they are simply promoting expensive treatments. Also, the numerous positive reviews might not tell the full story—NorCal Brain Center runs sweepstakes where patients who post reviews are entered into a raffle for free treatment. Detailed Review: We initially visited NorCal Brain Center because my daughter was frequently rolling her eyes involuntarily. After their $700 assessment, we were told this was neurological and required 12 sessions costing over $5,000. None of it was covered by insurance. While the evaluation process felt thorough, something about the diagnosis and treatment plan gave me pause. To be cautious, we consulted a psychiatrist for a second opinion. After their evaluation, they concluded that my daughter’s condition was not neurological. Instead, she was prescribed medication, and within two weeks, her symptoms had improved significantly. This left me wondering how NorCal Brain Center arrived at their diagnosis—and whether they might have been mistaken or simply following a business model that promotes extensive treatments. Another issue was the super bill they provided, which included diagnoses that seemed completely irrelevant, such as a concussion—something my daughter has never experienced. I don’t know if this was an oversight or just part of their standard billing process, but it raised concerns. It’s also worth noting that NorCal Brain Center has many five-star ratings, but I later learned they run raffle-style sweepstakes—patients who leave reviews are entered to win free treatments. This makes me wonder how many of those glowing reviews are truly unbiased. In the end, I can’t say for certain whether this was a case of misdiagnosis, an overly aggressive treatment approach, or something else entirely. However, based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any expensive treatment plan here.

Dr Minh did a wonderful job to help improve our son's developmental issues. Our son had some brain issues from not breathing for the first 7 minutes of his life and Dr Minh and his staff effectively identified concussion symptoms as a result, primarily effecting the back of the brain (stability and coordination). After just 6 weeks, the results were amazing and our son went from severe to near normal on most stability tests. He passed his driving exam which he had been having trouble to pass before the treatments and then went on to make a competitive basketball team which had seemed out of reach just a few months before. We continued treatment for an additional 3 months, refining the cerebral cortex and then moving to the cerebellum, where results to fix the "concussion" have also been phenomenal with increased awareness of our son's surroundings and the end of "figity habits". Thank to so much Dr Minh--you have changed our son's life. Keep it up!

I went to NorCal after a car accident. I was having trouble turning my neck, even thought I had done physical therapy for it. Dr Brett was amazing - he really knows body physiology and he got me the mobility I needed. The team there and Dr. Minh are caring and great!

Dr. Ali-- is the office to contact in southern California---no matter what county in southern California you live in. Dr. Minh Tran and Dr. Ali--are the truest of true professionals in every, every regard and detail. Yes, you guessed it--I went through vicious, vicious circles of inaccurately believing that other quality medical professionals would accurately identify or help in any profound way. No words can describe the circles I went in, the time, time, time and money and false hope I had with other high-quality professionals. Dr Minh Tran---with true expertise, with true thoroughness of knowledge of the systems--AND THAT is one profound unchangeable facet you must, must have. No words can imagine what I have gone through. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Dr Ali and Dr. Tran. In my father's back yard, my head super slammed on the pool's cool deck/pool edge--when this aggressive large bird at highest velocity dove aggressively into my face--throwing me totally off balance. (My father thought it was a meteorite-the bird dove/ came down so fast and why I went down so fast) There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Dr Minh Tran and Dr. Ali. Due to the gravity of my injury--my recovery still includes road ahead. But, I know I am at the total--total--right place--in the medical care of Nor Cal Brain Center. The profundity of how my head cannot tolerate noise, light, unable to handle any normal communication...... daily life and the impact on daily life. I never for a moment have forgotten--it could have been worse. I could not be more blessed--that it is not worse. All I know is I can, with my highest and true of unstoppable lifelong and unchangeable lifelong positive focus, and with Nor Cal Brain Center, I will the highest quality of life ahead of me. I must also say--each of the previous reviewers are on target. -I, too experienced the same and totally support their reviews. It is because of my injury issues and impact on my ability to key/type further --only reason I am not keying the same. I, too, have experienced the highest of professionalism with each of their team members, total highest quality personalized approach to treatment and so much more.
