Thyroid Dysfunction

Thyroid dysfunction is the most common cause for symptoms such as fatigue, bloating, cold hands and feed, inability to lose weight, brain fog, and depression.  Most doctors only check for a few thyroid markers: TSH, T3, and T4.  This is not enough information to check thyroid health because there are many other factors that can affect the thyroid.

Thyroid autoimmune disorders such as Hashimoto’s or Grave’s Disease are very common, but people suffering with these conditions might have normal TSH, T3 and T4 levels.  More markers are needed to check for these diseases.

We do a comprehensive thyroid panel that includes 10 different thyroid markers, and in addition checks for any blood sugar issues, viral or bacterial infections, liver/kidney health, and more.  This allows us to get a complete picture of your health because any of these factors can also affect the thyroid.
