Autoimmune Disease

What happens in autoimmune diseases is that the immune system starts attacking specific areas of the body.  How the autoimmune disease affects you depends on which areas of the body are targeted.  Some common areas affected are the thyroid, pancreas, gut, skin, nerves, and more.  Autoimmune diseases cannot be cured, but they can be managed so that there is symptomatic relief and possible recession of the disease.

There is a neurological component to autoimmune diseases that is not often mentioned.  The brain controls the immune system through something called the Vagus Nerve.  If the brain is not functioning properly, then the immune system will not be working as well and there can be imbalance, leading to an increased autoimmune response.  This is another area that must be assessed to ensure optimal results.

Our process includes figuring out what triggers are influencing the autoimmune attack, then removing the triggers and balancing the immune system so that the immune system can calm down and not attack the body.  We use specific labs to figure out these triggers, and we can supplement with professional grade supplements to support your body.
